This Athletics in-person workshop is designed for teachers and coaches working with athletes U14 and U16 who compete in ALL event groups. The focus of Sport Coach is on Learning to Train and it falls into the NCCP Instruction Pathway.
In addition to learning the technical elements of running, jumping and throwing, coaches will also discover the do's and don'ts of age-appropriate strength training.
LOCATION, DATE & TIME: it will be held in Red Deer, Alberta from 10:00a - 4:00p on Saturday December 6th and from 9:00a - 3:00p on Sunday December 7th.

Prior to attending this Athletics Sport Coach Workshop, coaches must take the online Athletics module called Foundations of Coaching. FOC is available on EITHER October 2-7-9 or November 12-19-26. Attendance at all 3 sessions is mandatory.
