This Athletics in-person workshop is designed for coaches working with athletes U16 and above who compete in a specifically in Endurance. The focus of Club Coach is on Training to Train and it falls into the NCCP Competition Pathway.
In addition to learning advanced technical progressions for all of the Endurance events, coaches will also learn:
1. Strength Training,
2. Program Planning & Design, and
3. How to Manage a Sports Program.
LOCATION, DATE & TIME: it will be held in Red Deer, Alberta from 10:00a - 6:30p on Saturday December 6th and from 9:00a - 6:30p on Sunday December 7th.

Prior to attending this Athletics Club Coach Workshop, coaches must take the online Athletics module called Foundations of Coaching. FOC is available on EITHER October 2-7-9 (Th-T-Th) OR November 12-19-26 (all Wednesdays) from 7:00 - 9:30pm. Attendance at all 3 sessions is mandatory.
