All high school cross country teams from near or far are invited to participate in the first annual Redcoats XC Classic. The races will be held at Firemen’s Park and will provide a great preview for your Zone races - or just an early season prep meet. Runners will run 1 km less than their regular race distance due to the early timing of this meet.
**IF YOUR SCHOOL TEAM IS NOT LISTED JUST LEAVE IT BLANK AND SEND ME AN EMAIL WITH WHAT THE TEAM NAME SHOULD BE PLEASE.**

COST: $10 per entry, $300 team maximum
Please make cheques out to Governor Simcoe Secondary School if paying by cheque.
Payment required on the day of the event or advance online payment on Trackie. Team packages will not be given out until all fees are paid.

9:00 am Registration open
10:30 am Novice Girls & Para 3 km 3k Loop
11:00 am Novice Boys 3 km 3k Loop
11:30 am Junior Girls 4 km 1K + 3K Loop
12:00 pm Junior Boys 4 km 1K + 3K Loop
12:30 pm Senior Girls 5 km 2K + 3K Loop
1:10 pm Senior Boys 5 km 2K + 3K Loop
COURSE MAPS:
Will be posted online at the Registration link
There will be a lead biker and marshals will be posted at key areas along the race course
AWARDS:
• T-Shirts will be awarded to the Top 5 finishers in each race as well as to the Top Team (max of 5 runners)
OTHER INFORMATION:
• Washrooms are available on site.
• There will be a concessions stand with some snack and drink items operated by the Stamford Centre Volunteer Firefighters Association.
• Teams are asked to bring garbage bags and ensure that the park is left clean.
• Results will be emailed out to all participating teams on the evening of Sept 19.
